As the largest design organization in the world, The American Institute of Architects (AIA), is working to transform the day-to-day practice of architecture to achieve a zero-carbon, resilient, healthy, just, equitable built environment, for everyone.

The American Institute of Architects exists to unite architects in fellowship, promote the aesthetic, scientific, and practical efficiency of the profession, advance the science and art of planning and building, coordinate the building industry and the profession of architecture to improve the quality of life and make the profession of ever-increasing service to society. AIA inspires and empowers architects to improve society and transform the world.

About AIA Delaware

Chartered in 1932, AIA Delaware, is a state component of The American Institute of Architects.  AIA Delaware strives to ensure professional design excellence and to promote both greater public understanding of architecture and the importance of a well-planned environment.  With guidance from its parent organization, and acting in conjunction with other components, AIA Delaware protects and defends the rights of architects and keeps them abreast of new developments in the profession.
