Elevating Women in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Design

The AIA Women’s Leadership Summit took place November 3-5, 2025 in Atlanta, convening the nation's premier event for women in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC).

The Women’s Leadership Summit is dedicated to empowering women into leadership positions and advancing equity within the built environment professions. Attendees will engage in meaningful networking, educational sessions, and community-building activities designed to inspire them to lead boldly and shape the future of architecture together. The event provides a vital platform for women to build lasting professional relationships that extend well beyond the conference.

This year's program celebrated its host city, showcasing Atlanta's unique architectural landscape and vibrant design community. Participants had the opportunity to experience architectural walking tours of the city's most iconic landmarks. The agenda also included exclusive visits to some of Atlanta's top architecture firms, offering an inside look at the projects and passionate people shaping our city's award-winning work.

The summit featured a powerful lineup of speakers, including a keynote address by Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour, America's first Black female combat pilot and author of Zero to Breakthrough. The program also included dynamic educational tracks, an Executive Leadership Roundtable for senior leaders, and a Storytelling Stage for sharing personal journeys and success stories.
