AIA Delaware Newsletter
The AIA Delaware newsletter is an electronic publication that communicates information, news, programs and events
of interest to its members and the public on the first Wednesday of each month.

Member News:
Our newsletter includes brief news items from our architect and allied members (number of images used at discretion
of the Editor), including awards, events and other newsworthy items of interest to architects in Delaware.
Items should include a URL link (if any) and be sent to the Editor. Submissions will be edited for length.
Eligible member news and announcement content shall report news about, or the work of, an AIA Delaware member
or the AIA Delaware member's office's work generated from their office located in Delaware. Architectural project
news items are limited to work completed under the direction of an AIA Delaware member. Publication of member
news or announcement items is not an endorsement of the news or announcement.
AIA Delaware does not take responsibility for, or any editorial position on, articles or news items submitted by its members.
The views expressed in any article or news item are those of the author's and do not necessarily represent the views of,
and should not be attributed to, AIA Delaware or its Board of Directors. All questions should be directed to the firm or
author of the piece.
Events and Programs:
Event and program listings should be brief and include, at a minimum:
- Event title
- Sponsor
- Date and time
- Cost
- Continuing Education information
- Location
- Registration information
- Short description
- URL link
Consideration is given to members and sponsors, non-profit organizations, and events offering AIA/CES Learning Unit that are located in Delaware.
Deadline:
Insertion Orders and ad copy/artwork are due to the Editor no later than the 25th of the month for the
consideration of the next month’s edition.

Guidelines & Specifications:
Deliver ad copy/artwork to AIA Delaware via email to the Editor at director@aiadelaware.org,
together with either a PDF proof of the ad (or a printed proof, sent under separate cover).
All artwork must have all fonts, graphics, and images embedded. Suggested image size is 100KB or less, 432w x 432h
pixels maximum with a minimum resolution of 72dpi and maximum of 300dpi. Images in EPS (Adobe CS), JPG, PNG or GIF
formats (in CMYK or RGB mode) preferred, but TIF will also be accepted. If your image is larger than 350KB or 432
pixels wide, AIA Delaware will edit the image which may degrade the quality of your image.
All artwork must be supplied to AIA Delaware Editor by the deadline. If not received by the deadline, AIA Delaware reserves
the right to utilize your company’s primary information as ad copy. If artwork is not available, we’ll work with you
to develop it with you for free.
