AIA Delaware is a state component of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), first chartered in 1932. The component was incorporated n 1957 as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization and is managed by a Board of Directors elected from its membership. With over 150 members, AIA Delaware represents architects as well as architectural interns and students and allied professionals.

This Strategic Plan is a stepping point and tool for our chapter to use as we continue to support initiatives to increase knowledge, advocacy, and public outreach. Action plans in support of the goals outlined in this Strategic Plan will be evaluated and updated throughout the life of the plan.
